3 Games in 5 Nights

We start a series of three games in five nights tomorrow. I wanted to step up our schedule this year and play a few more AAA and AAAA schools. These teams will push us and prepare us for the upcoming conference season. These games are also all on the road which gives us an added challenge.

Friday Dec 4 @ 7:00- Fridley High School

I spent the 2007/2008 basketball season as the Sophomore and Assistant Varsity Coach at Fridley. Coach McDonald is a class act and has one of the best overall programs in the state. Fridley lost all of their starters from last year but the guys who I coached as Sophomores are now seniors and I know they will bring quickness and intensity Friday night. It will be a good test for us.

Monday Dec 7 @ 7:30- Henry Sibley High School

Henry Sibley is currently ranked top ten in AAAA. They have a legit 7' (Jake Krueser) and 6'8" (Mike Rastampour) front court. Their 3 top players are all division I recruits and they've been to state the last two years. This will be a fun and challenging game for our guys, when it's over we'll have a good understanding where the program is at. On a personal note Coach Dasovich is a good friend and it will be fun going against him next Monday.

Tuesday Dec 8 @ 7:30- Maranatha

Maranatha has been a top 1A program for many years. They are currently rated in the top ten. We played a very tight game at our place last year and I'm expecting the same type of game again this year. Maranatha always plays the game the right way and always have one or two star players who can carry the team.

This is our current roster. I'm really enjoying this group of guys, they work hard and keep us on our toes. I will go to battle with these young men any day.
