Our season came to an end on Saturday night as we fell to Concordia Academy 63-44. The score was 22-20 at half and it looked like our defense was going to hold up and keep us in the game but Concordia went on one big run to start the second half and we couldn't recover. The boys actually played pretty well, we just got beat by a better team. Effort and intensity was not the problem and if it wasn't for a 5 minute stretch of sub par defense we would have been able to keep it close enough to have a chance at the end. Josh Gray played well with 19 points and a career high 9 rebs. Sam Dicke finished with 10 and 9.
We will miss our seniors Sam and Bullard next year, they have worked hard to help bring SPA Basketball to a respectable level. I know they each have bright futures ahead.

Our section is down to Concorida Academy, Blake, St. Croix Lutheran and Minnehaha Academy. No suprises there, I would give the edge to Concordia because of their Big Man inside.
