Maranatha

We came up a little short last night at Maranatha 67-70. We lost the game in the first half by giving up 41 points. Maranatha did a great job converting our turnovers and long rebounds, but settled down in the second half and only committed 3 turnovers. Proud of our effort and ability to handle some adversity, but we need to learn how to win games down the stretch. Josh Gray (Jr) lead us with 21 pts, Connor Allen (Soph) added 9 pts 14 rebs 4 asst, Spencer Egly (Jr)had 6 assts and only 1 turnover and Dalante Peyton (8th) chipped in with 12 pts 4 rebs.

Our group of 6 seniors set the tone for us with great leadership, defense and rebounding lead by Joe Klein who had 6 pts and 7 rebs. I can tell already that our entire team is loaded with quality character and it starts with this group of senior. I truly believe that a teams attitude reflects its leadership..... we are in good shape with these 6 guys.

Looking forward to Tuesday nights game @ St. Anthony.
