Breck & Duluth Marshall

We lost to Breck Friday night 61-42 at home. We gave up way to many easy baskets and also had trouble with rebounding. We executed our offense nicely and had a lot of good looks at the basket, unfortunately we had trouble making those shots. We made a late push with about 7 mins left but then ran into some foul trouble. Josh Gray lead us with 19 points (career high), CJ Whitaker also had a nice night defensively with 5 steals.

We rebounded nicely Saturday with a ugly but great win over Duluth Marshall 42-31. As I said after the game I don't care how we get the wins as long as we get them. Duluth came out with 8 quick points but we buckled down and held them to 18 for the half. We were missing one of our top players and Sam Dicke fouled out with about 5 mins left. Danny O'shea and Jeron Mariane filled in very nicely and made some quality plays for us down the stretch. Josh Gray sealed the win for us going 7 for 9 from the free throw lane in the 2nd half scoring 12 points. Sam Dicke had his first career double double scoring 13 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. Nice to get that first win of the season.
