St. Agnes & Concordia Academy

St. Agnes- We lost to St. Agnes 65-49 last Tuesday night @ home. We actually out played St. Agnes in the first half with a few guys in foul trouble but let poor shooting and turnovers get the better of us in the second half. Our guys let troubles on the offensive end effect their defensive performance and we gave up 43 points in the second half. It was a disappointing loss after playing so well in the first half. Spencer Egly had 16 and Sam Dicke chipped in with 14.

Concordia Academy- We lost in an ugly game vs Concordia last Friday 61-36. Guys were dropping like flies during both the Varsity and JV games which hurt our chances to be competitive throughout the entire game. Our guys did a great job of not feeling sorry for themselves and they continued to battle until the last second. I had 6 available player when it was all said and done, I've never experience anything like it and hope I'll never have to be that limited again. I appreciate all of the fellas sacrificing their bodies for me and each other. Even after being banged up everyone was still diving on the floor and trying to take charges. I had no choice but to be proud of the effort. CJ Whitaker had 11 all in the first half and Spencer Egly added 15 before getting hurt half way through the second half.

We have 6 days until our next game, which is great news for a battered group.
