Brooklyn Center- We beat Brooklyn Center 58-45 Friday to give us our first conference victory of the year. It was also our best overall performance of the year. We got up big in the second half which allowed all of your guys the chance to play. We did a great job defensively holding them to about 35 points with 3 minutes left in the game. We shared the ball on offense which resulted in our best shooting night of the year. Josh Gray lead us going 5-6 from three point land. Sam Dicke had another strong game with a double double and Joe Klein had a career high 10 rebounds. The guys are working hard and it's paying off on the court for us.
St. Paul Prep- We had consecutive victories last night for the first time this year beating St. Paul Prep 66-24. The guys played hard and took care of business early, not allowing St. Paul Prep to score which gave us time to find our shooting stroke. Sam Dicke lead us with 17 pts and 9 rebounds, Andrew Bullard chipped in with a career high 10 pts. We also had a few young guys get there first Varsity experience last night which was fun for the entire group.
We have won 3 of our last 4 games and are showing quality improvement on the court. Things get a bit tougher with Minnetonka coming on Thursday followed by a road trip to St. Croix Lutheran on Friday.
